Campaign details

In 2021, CONAI and Biorepack Consortia realized a social media campaign entitled “Oltre le apparenze” with the aim of improving the separate collection of organic waste through the correct disposal of biodegradable and compostable bioplastic packaging.

“Tattooed Man” and “Karate Girl” are the subjects of two videos that were scheduled together with two video tutorials on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and the web.

The videos highlight that appearances should not be misleading, as they often lead us into error, just as when we mistakenly dispose of compostable bioplastics in the plastics bin.

To separate waste correctly, it is necessary to look carefully, check the environmental label and the markings on packaging: if it is made of compostable bioplastic, it should be disposed of with organic waste. If the packaging is a fruit and vegetable bag, it should be reused to collect organic waste.
