CONAI sponsored the new editorial initiative of Corriere della Sera, which aims to connect territories, creativity and innovation, dedicated to everything new that is emerging in Italy. It serves as an active forum for dialogue and exchange between business, education, creativity, associations, manufacturing, tourism and culture. Corriere Innovazione is a new, internet-first format that expands into a series of events, as well as taking the form of a bimonthly magazine. CONAI also set up and customised the event spaces in Milan and Bergamo, and participated as a speaker, presenting projects focused on eco-design of packaging.

CONAI also sponsors the SetteGreen Awards, organised by Sette, the weekly magazine of Corriere della Sera. These awards celebrate eco‑sustainable ideas and projects, and excellence in green initiatives. For CONAI, it is an important opportunity to showcase initiatives carried out with EPR Organisation Member companies to prevent the environmental impact of packaging.

The categories open to organisations, companies and individuals who worked during 2014 according to sustainability criteria are: Sustainable Living, Apps, (Smart) Cities, Culture, Food and Packaging. Applications were open until 10 November at http://settegreenawards.corriere.it.

The awards ceremony took place on 2 December at the Triennale Milano.
