Design for Recycling is the online platform dedicated to the dissemination and public consultation of guidelines for recycling‑oriented packaging design. It is now a key tool for achieving circular‑economy goals.

The guidelines are the result of collaboration with leading Italian design universities and the Packaging Material Consortia. Their aim is to provide design guidelines to make packaging easier to recycle, based on a detailed analysis of the entire collection, sorting and recycling chain.

Design for Recycling is a permanent forum on packaging recyclability, intended to foster dialogue across the entire supply chain, in which all actors play a crucial role in achieving a circular economy.

The platform will be progressively enriched with new guidelines to facilitate recycling of packaging made of all other materials managed by the Consortium, in order to ensure complete coverage aligned with regulatory developments and technical updates.
