Environment, resource for growth in the European Union. Overcoming the challenge of “green” employment
Minister of the Environment, Gian Luca Galletti presented the EU “two days” for the environment and labour that will be held in Milan on the 16th and 17th July. On the 16th the EU Environment Council will meet and on the 17th there will be a joint meeting with the Ministers of the Environment and Labour. At the press conference the environmental programme for the semester of Italian presidency was outlined, which considers the sustainable development chain to be a critical tool for economic recovery. The study “Growth and employment in the recycling sector”, conducted by CONAI (National Packaging Consortium) with the Ministry of the Environment across the 28 European member states, was also presented.
